Dear MRA members,

It gives me immense pride to preside over the Rheumatology association of Maharashtra. Rheumatology has made breathtaking strides in research and attracts many youngsters to the field. Juniors trained from various parts of the country bring fresh vision and perspective to our organization.

Being a fledgling body, we are striving towards laying a strong foundation by strengthening our teaching programmes for both rheumatology fellows and post graduate students of internal medicine. Although rich in clinical material, we have been lacking in doing/publishing our research. The present committee with the help of all its members will work towards encouraging collaborative research projects from all over Maharashtra. We promise to work towards making the MRA an institution that we all can be proud of!!
